Miguel Lopez is a Texas native, born and raised in the greater El Paso area. Miguel is a graduate of the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, whose studies include Visual Arts & Design. Since a very early age, Miguel has always had a fascination with the visual experience. He has since developed a deep appreciation for architecture, illustration, painting, photography, design, cinema, and horticulture. Today, Miguel continues to produce visceral artworks and works as an accomplished landscape designer.

With its vast horizons and natural beauty, the desert southwest is what captivates Miguel. His work records the relationship of the human condition to the environment that surrounds us all. The ability to share, discuss, and question life's experiences are essential to our existence and well-being.

Miguel's mediums typically consist of pencil, pen and ink, oil, photography (analog and digital), and landscape design.
